specialize in choices. Unlike the other guys, we won't force you into cookie-cutter designs. You have choices!!
Below, please find some of the most common home specs that we can design into your next home or remodel. |
| FOUNDATION:9' poured walls or block; optional steel support beams. |
| FRAMING:Engineered I-joist, Advantech® ¾" T&G (tongue & groove) flooring, studs 16" O.C. (on center), OSB (oriented stran board) exterior sheathing, engineered roof trusses with energy heels, OSB roof sheathing. |
| ROOFING:15lb felt, weather guard in valleys, 30-yr dimensional shingles. |
| WINDOWS:Choose from Pella®, Jeldwen®, or Marvin®. You may choose wood or vinyl windows. |
| DOORS:Choose from Pella® or Therma-Tru® |
| PLUMBING:Choose from copper or Pex (crosslinked polyethylene, known for its strength & durability) tubing supply lines, with PVC drain lines. Plumbing fixtures include Delta®, Kohler®, Sterling®, Aquaglass® and Jacuzzi®. |
| ELECTRICAL:We offer 200-amp service with extensive outlet and light placement. Optional security system, intercom, & central vacuum system. |
| HVAC:Trane® high-efficiency furnaces and heat pumps. Also available: geothermal heating/cooling systems. |
| INSULATION:NuWool® cellulose in walls and ceilings. The savings and comfort are real! Don't use outdated technology to insulate your new home!! |
| EXTERIOR FINISHES:Choose from vinyl siding with high mil thickness (for less warping) in a wide selection of colors, Hardie fiber® cement siding, brick, stone or stucco. |
| DRYWALL:Installed per code, and in entire garage, with knock-down texture on ceilings. Flat ceilings or different designs of knockdown are also available. |
| PAINT:We use Pittsburg® Paints, with an eggshell finish that's washable. Of course, you have a huge array of colors to choose from. |
| TRIM PACKAGE:A nice range of door styles to choose from, as well as base, casing, & specialty pieces. Base normally is 4 ½ inches & casing 3 ¼ inches; compare this to other builders that use 3 ¼" base and 2 ¼" casing. Stain or paintable packages to fit your desires. Don't forget all the different staircase styles to choose from to bring the whole trim package together. |
| KITCHEN CABINETS:Aristokraft®, Armstrong®, Kemper®, Kitchen Kompact®, Schrock®, Truwood® & Woodharber®. |
| KITCHEN COUNTERTOPS: Laminate by Wilson Art® or Formica®, granite, Silestone® or LG Hi Macs® acrylic solid surface. |
| KITCHEN APPLIANCES:Unlike the other guys, we include kitchen appliances with our new homes. Of course, you get to choose brands, styles and models. |
| LIGHT FIXTURES:So many choices! We can suggest fixtures, or, if you'd prefer, you may shop for your own light fixtures. |
| FLOORING:Choose from vinyl, tile, hardwood, engineered hardwood, laminate or carpet. |
| BATHROOM ACCESSORIES:Delta®, Moen®, & more. Since accessories are so important to the decor, we encourage you to choose your style and brands. |
| CLOSET SHELVING:We offer vinyl-coated wire shelving, laminate shelving, or custom wood shelving. |
