| CJ's dad, circa 1970 |
My father, Carl Adams, loved the building and remodeling trade. He was a true
craftsman when it came to anything made with wood. The level of pride he took in
each and every project is with me still today. I started working in construction
at the age of 9 years old. Yes, I said 9 yrs old. It was the summer between
4th grade and 5th grade, and while other kids where getting to sleep in, I
would have to get up at 5:30 am and go with dad to the coffee shop, then off
to work.
When you worked with my dad on any job, you learned the most
important part of your job was to do it right--no ifs, ands, or buts. I soon
realized that dad had to be proud of the quality of my work as well as his
own, a tough example to follow, but follow I did. I consider myself very
lucky to have had that experience, because his teachings have helped me
no matter what I have done in my life. |

| During my years as a construction manager, I have been blessed to have worked
with wonderful homeowners and trade contractors. I have managed homes ranging from
$140,000 to a Parade of Homes valued at 1.2 million dollars. The value of each
project may have been different but one thing remained constant: the quality had
to be what my dad would've expected. I have completed each home I build with
that very thought. |

When you hire Uniquely Custom Homes to do your remodeling or to construct
your new home, I am the person you'll be working with throughout the
whole process. And, yes, I'll be available whenever you need to contact me.
I'll be part of the entire process, from designing, blue prints, pricing,
building, and warranty. Unlike the mass-market builders, I build only
a few houses a year; that way, I can be here when my customers need me, and I can
keep much closer control of the quality of each job I contract. I know
that's the way my dad would have wanted it.
